CESAR Fax provides a weekly, one-page overview of timely substance abuse trends or issues. Over 3,500 subscribers receive a Monday morning email or fax, including Federal and State policymakers; prevention specialists; treatment and health care providers; law enforcement officials; researchers and academicians; and media representatives.

The National Center on Addiction and Substance Abuse at Columbia University

The National Center on Addiction and Substance Abuse (CASA) at Columbia University is the only nation-wide organization that brings together under one roof all the professional disciplines needed to study and combat abuse of all substances – alcohol, nicotine as well as illegal, prescription and performance enhancing drugs – in all sectors of society.

Their resources include the results of their annual National Survey of American Attitudes on Substance Abuse: Teens and Parents.

NSDUH provides national and state-level data on the use of tobacco, alcohol, illicit drugs (including non-medical use of prescription drugs) and mental health in the United States.
