Town Hall Meeting on Prescription Drug Abuse, Nov. 20

The Community Anti-Drug Coalitions of America in collaboration with the Colorado State Office of the Governor and the Prescription Drug Abuse Prevention Program present a statewide discussion on prescription drug abuse among youth on Wednesday, November 20. A large-group meeting will occur in Denver with multiple, live video feeds throughout the state. Team Fort Collins and the Colorado State University Human Development and Family Studies Department are bringing this important discussion to you locally from 6:45 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Behavioral Sciences Building, Rm 103 on the CSU campus. prescription bottles

Professors, coaches, parents, researchers and students are all invited to this free event to learn more about the ever-increasing problem of prescription drug misuse and abuse. Did you know that there were over 300 deaths in Colorado last year from prescription drugs? This is more than from DUIs and cocaine use combined.
