We combine social norms theory with social marketing techniques. Messages are specifically targeted to promote accurate health norms to a specific group of people through media and promotional campaigns. Additionally, we benefit from the use of a number of high-quality resources, including:
- Colorado State University Research and Development Center for the Advancement of Student Learning, Fort Collins, CO. CSU provides technical assistance in the areas of survey development, data collection, evaluation, and data interpretation for ACTUALITY™.
- Poudre School District. With 25,000 students, PSD provides ACTUALITY™ with a unique alliance of leadership and access to K-12 students who comprise our basic research training ground for social norms marketing. PSD is a diverse public school system with schools ranging from one-room mountain schools to 2,000 student city high schools with a racially-diverse population.
- Raymundo Romero. An independent consultant, provides professional youth marketing services to ACTUALITY™.
